Have you played around with your first Drupal site, been to an "Introduction to Drupal" training, or scored your first Drupal job and not sure what to do next?

Then this is the workshop for you.

During our short time together we'll discuss a broad range of foundational site building concepts and tools you can use to build basic and more complex things with relatively little effort, and no coding at all.
We will mostly focus on what Drupal Core has to offer, but also highlight some extremely useful and often-used contributed modules that offer amazing additional functionality.

To really benefit from this workshop you should have already worked with a Drupal 8/9/10 website where you had administrative privileges, managed some editorial content, and placed a few blocks in various places.

We'll discuss things like:
  •  Local development environments and tools
  •  Data modeling with Entities
  •  Data display with Display modes
  •  Assembling pages with the Classic UI and the Layout builder (Core)
  •  Assembling pages with Paragraphs (Contrib)
  •  Structured vs unstructured content
  •  Custom search forms and lists of content with Views
  •  Building powerful forms with Webforms (Contrib)
  •  Configuring Editorial Workflows (Core)

Due to the limited time we will not work through problem sets and exercises together, so you don't need access to a Drupal site to follow along.
However, this will be an interactive workshop, so be prepared to ask and answer questions, and share your experiences.

This workshop will be held in English.
